Project Engineer – HSE & Lifting (Offshore/EPCI)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to lead HSE and lifting activities for a major deep‑water LNG development in Mozambique. The role combines offshore installation, yard operations and marine coordination, ensuring safe and compliant execution of load‑out and rigging tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise lifting, rigging and load‑out operations on installation vessels and in yards.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE standards and approved lifting procedures.
• Review and approve lifting plans, task plans and risk assessments.
• Support Management of Change (MOC) processes and conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA).
• Interface with Marine Warranty Surveyors during load‑out and sail‑away activities.
• Act as Offshore Field/Project Engineer onboard installation vessels.
• Monitor rigging certification and lifting equipment compliance.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with at least 10 years of experience in offshore deep‑water installation projects.
• Strong background in lifting operations, rigging, load‑out and subsea installation.
• Familiarity with DNV, API and offshore installation standards.
• Previous vessel‑based offshore experience essential.
• Current BOSIET certification and fluent English communication skills.
