Provincial Program Coordinator – Tete

About the role

The Provincial Program Coordinator will provide technical, operational and coordination support for GHS and WASH activities across Tete Province. Based in Cidade de Tete, the role involves frequent travel to districts to ensure high‑quality implementation of project interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary FHI 360 liaison for GHS and WASH activities, coordinating with provincial authorities, district structures and partners.
• Support planning, monitoring and reporting of activities, ensuring alignment with government priorities and donor requirements.
• Identify implementation bottlenecks and work with teams to develop practical solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with government, NGOs, UN agencies and private sector stakeholders, representing FHI 360 professionally.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in public health, WASH, environmental health, international development or related field; Project Management certification preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in global health security, outbreak response, WASH programming or public health emergency management, preferably in Mozambique.
• Demonstrated experience working with provincial and district government structures and coordinating multi‑sectoral programs.
