QAQC Material Specialist – Local (Rotational)

About the role

SGS is seeking a QAQC Material Specialist – Local to support a leading LNG/Oil & Gas project in Mozambique. The role is rotational, with 28 days on‑site followed by 28 days off, and offers the chance to work on a high‑visibility, 15‑month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate material deliveries and manage warehouse operations.
• Perform QAQC inspections on incoming and stored materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and control stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, LNG and oil‑gas standards.
• Utilise SAP or similar material management systems for tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with on‑shore and off‑shore teams to support project logistics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in material coordination, warehouse handling and QAQC processes.
• Background in inventory control within oil & gas or LNG projects.
• Exposure to offshore/on‑shore project environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP or comparable material management software.
• Willingness to work a 28‑day on/28‑day off rotational schedule.
