Recruitment Specialist – Maputo

About the role

HURETEKHURETEK Services is seeking an experienced Recruitment Specialist to lead talent acquisition for strategic, technical, and leadership positions across its client portfolio. Based in Maputo/Matola, you will manage the full recruitment cycle and build strong relationships with both clients and candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and map target profiles through market research and direct headhunting.
• Conduct active sourcing of passive candidates and maintain a qualified talent pool.
• Analyze recruitment needs, draft job descriptions, and shortlist candidates via phone, video, or in‑person interviews.
• Assess technical skills, behavioral fit, and cultural alignment; coordinate client interviews and follow‑up to hire.
• Verify references, conduct post‑recruitment follow‑up, and produce KPI tracking reports.
• Advise clients on market trends, compensation, and talent attraction strategies.
• Monitor industry trends and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management, Business or related field.
• 3–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in a headhunting or placement agency.
• Proven track record recruiting specialized, technical or senior‑level profiles.
• Fluent Portuguese and English.

Required skills

• Advanced sourcing techniques.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
