Subcontractor Administrative Officer

About the role

The Subcontractor Administrative Officer will support the Central Térmica de Temane (CTT) 450 MW project by managing all aspects of subcontract administration. Reporting to the Human Resources Department, the role ensures that subcontract agreements are negotiated, executed and closed in line with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate subcontract terms and conditions with suppliers and service providers.
• Prepare, review and administer subcontract agreements throughout their lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and other departments to align subcontract deliverables with project needs.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, compliance and resolve related issues or disputes.
• Maintain accurate subcontract records, documentation and prepare performance reports.
• Conduct risk assessments and support mitigation actions.
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual and company standards.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals, support selection and conduct audits/inspections of subcontracted work.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist with subcontract budgeting and cost control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in subcontract administration.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication, negotiation and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and dynamic project environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
