Systems Engineer – Client Business Systems

About the role

The Systems Engineer – Client Business Systems will be responsible for administering, supporting and improving enterprise IT infrastructure for client organisations in Maputo.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and support enterprise servers and systems, including routine health checks and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to incidents, service requests and technical issues, troubleshoot hardware, OS, application and infrastructure problems, and resolve them within SLA targets.
• Support virtualization, storage, networking and monitoring platforms, and assist with system upgrades, migrations and disaster‑recovery activities.
• Maintain accurate system documentation, record incidents and changes, and develop standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration or technical support.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments and enterprise user support.
• Familiarity with incident and service request management processes.
• Exposure to virtualization, backup, networking and monitoring technologies; client‑facing experience is a plus.
