Mining Production Supervisor

About the role

The Mining Production Supervisor will lead daily extraction and haulage activities on an active mine site. This hands‑on position requires a strong presence in the pit, coordinating operators, equipment and material flow to meet production targets safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily extraction and material movement across active mining areas.
• Direct equipment operators to ensure safe, disciplined mining practices.
• Allocate equipment and personnel to achieve daily production goals.
• Monitor mining activities, grade control and minimise dilution or waste.
• Maintain a visible safety presence, conduct toolbox talks and enforce PPE use.
• Review equipment pre‑start inspections and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collect, reconcile and report accurate production and haulage data each shift.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising mining or similar heavy‑equipment operations.
• Strong people‑leadership skills with the ability to motivate crews.
• Solid understanding of mining safety standards and operational discipline.
• Ability to analyse production data and act on operational constraints.
