Storekeeper – Site Services

About the role

The Storekeeper – Site Services will manage material requisitions, inventory control and warehouse operations at the Afungi site, reporting to the Site Service Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process material requisitions and purchase requests, liaising with procurement and logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
• Receive, inspect, verify and record incoming materials, spare parts, consumables and equipment against delivery documents.
• Issue materials and maintain accurate transaction records while controlling warehouse access.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts, reconcile inventory and prepare variance reports.
• Document and track shipments, manage equipment records and report discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, customs, environmental regulations and maintain warehouse housekeeping standards.
• Control issuance and tracking of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to personnel.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control or logistics.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote site environment.
• Mozambican nationality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP systems.
