Endoscopy Technician - Full-time

About the role

The Endoscopy Technician provides technical support for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical duties related to patient treatment and care during endoscopy procedures.
• Monitor PAR levels of all instrumentation and supplies.
• Prepare, assemble, and organize the work environment, equipment, and supplies needed for procedures.
• Maintain and clean endoscopic instruments, scope cleaning machines, and sterilizers.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an approved Operating Room Technical School preferred.
• At least one year of on‑the‑job experience in an endoscopy setting or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Knowledge of instrument handling, endoscopic equipment, scope cleaning machines, sterilizers, standard precautions, and terminal cleaning of surgical instruments.
• No specific license required; participation in AORT encouraged.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
